Start with the learning outcomes

Reusable learning objects connect outcomes, activities and assessment evidence.

This is a proposed learning map, not an approved degree curriculum. PLOs, CLOs, credits and graduation criteria require the university’s formal process.

What does the quiz measure?

The five-question quiz checks understanding and reasoning within a scenario. Skills, ethics and character require evidence from activities, discussion, observation and reflection. Quiz scores alone do not establish competence.

How to build on these materials

  1. Define learners, tasks and program-level outcomes.
  2. Select learning objects and translate outcomes into measurable CLOs.
  3. Design CPX/Sim activities that produce evidence against the rubric.
  4. Obtain expert review, pilot the materials and improve from evaluation.
